The Clothing Connection has been expanded to include free automobile service, free haircuts, free blood pressure checks, children’s activities, the “Free” Market and a large display of gently worn clothing from newborn through adult sizes, shoes,  new undergarments and socks all  available at no cost.  Members of the community are encouraged to browse and select any of the items they can use.

Clothing donations are being accepted now at the church weekday mornings from 9:00- noon, Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 and on Sunday mornings.

Children’s activities include face painting, a craft project and the opportunity to participate in the Clothing Connection Coloring Contest.

Free Haircuts offered by qualified local Stylists and Barbers are being made available for all ages on a first come first served basis.

Free Blood Pressure Checks are being provided by local EMT’s and medical personnel.

The “Free” Market will feature lots of household goods that are in usable condition, displayed yard sale style.  If you need it, it’s free for the taking!

Free Automobile Service will include an interior vacuum and free car wash, oil level check and tire pressure check.

A limited number of free oil changes performed by qualified technicians will be offered on site while you wait.  Reservations are necessary for the free oil change and may be obtained on a first come first served basis by calling (717) 862-3388 or by emailing info@nccchurch.com.  Please leave your name, make and year of your automobile and a phone number or email address.  You will receive a confirmation and reservation time.  The oil change includes oil and filter.

Refreshments provided and The Airville Volunteer Fire Company will be offering pulled pork sandwiches for sale at the church with all proceeds benefitting the Fire Company

Those attending the Clothing Connection are asked to consider bring a food item to be donated to the Mason Dixon Community Services Food Locker.  Any non-perishable items welcomed.

The C.A.R.E.S. Ministry (Christians Acting responsively to Ease Situations) seeks to demonstrate God’s love by providing services and resources to members of the local community.  Ministry activities include collecting and distributing non-perishable food items, collecting donations of gently used clothing to be distributed at no cost at “Clothing Connection” events.

Easter Eggs to Fall From Sky

NCCC Community Egg Drop

Saturday, April 7 beginning at 9:00 AM

          This free fun filled event for children aged toddler through the 6th grade will feature story time, face painting, cup cake decorating, snacks and the drop of several thousand candy filled plastic Easter eggs from a helicopter onto the large field beside the church facility. 

          After the eggs are dropped from the helicopter, the children can enjoy gathering the candy-filled eggs.  In order to participate children can register and receive a colored wristband at the information tent anytime before the drop.  Refreshments and snacks will be available for adults attending the event.

          The helicopter from Dutch Country Helicopters plans to land at New Covenant prior to the drop and the crew will be available to answer questions about the helicopter.  The eggs will drop around 10:00 am.  In the event that weather prevents the helicopter flight, the eggs will be spread in another manner.

On Sunday, February 19 a loaded Baked Potato Bar with all the fixins’, Vegetable Chili, Traditional Chili and Venison Chili will be served for a donation of $7.50 per person (Children 6 and under FREE) immediately after the Worship service.

This acclaimed choir under the direction of Mr. Thomas Wise will present a selection of traditional and contemporary music ranging from “And The Glory of the Lord” composed by George Frederic Handel to “I’ve Been in the Storm So Long” a traditional spiritual arranged by Mark Hayes. 

A number of students from our local area participate in the choir.  You will not want to miss this wonderful musical experience and the chance to support these talented students.  The concert is free, nursery is provided and Children’s Worship is available for students from Kindergarten through 4^th grade.

New Covenant Community Church

The community is invited to attend the Harvest Dinner and Night of Music on Saturday, October 15 at the New Covenant Community Church Ministry Center located at 284 Slab Rd, Delta, PA 17314. 

A dinner featuring salad, traditional chili, vegetable chili, hot dogs, rolls, drinks and dessert will be served at 5:00 PM.   Seating is limited for this free meal and tickets are required. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis and can be obtained by emailing your name, contact number and number of tickets needed to info@nccchurch.com  or by calling the church office weekday mornings between 9:00 am and noon.

The Night of Music will begin at 7:00 PM and will feature internationally known trumpeter and recording artist, Don Shire along with vocalist Dee Jones.   There is no cost for the concert and a free will offering will be received to support Don Shire Ministries.  Reservations are not required for the concert and seating for the concert begins at 6:30 PM.  Childcare for children up to fourth grade will be available during the concert.

Don Shire appears frequently on Christian TV and radio and is regarded by many as one of the finest Christian trumpet players in the United States. His college education was at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where he was a double major in Music and Christian Education. In Ministry, Don has previously served as an Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor and Minister of Music. As a businessman, Don has been the president of two computer related businesses.

He currently is the featured guest in concerts, mission conferences and evangelistic outreach throughout the United States and 33 other countries.  Music from Don’s 8 compact disc recordings can be heard on radio across the United States as well as many other countries.

 Don also co-hosts a weekly radio program aired in the state of Wisconsin. He also coordinates short-term mission trips for church groups and individuals throughout the world.

Don Shire is married to Kathy, his wife since 1974, and they have three adult children and 8 grandchildren.

Dee Jones currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.Growing up in Virginia, Dee was born into a musical family. At a young age she was launched into music ministry, but knew she wanted to become a nurse when she grew up. After obtaining degrees in Early Childhood Education, a BSN and a Master’s Degree in Nursing, she continued to lead worship and perform special music worldwide. Dee has appeared with renowned gospel artists such as Andre Crouch, Michael W. Smith, and others.

Gently worn clothing from newborn through adult sizes, shoes and new undergarments and socks will be available at no cost.  Members of the community are encouraged to browse and select any of the clothing items they can use.

Clothing donations are being accepted at the church on weekday mornings from 9:00- noon, Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 and Sunday mornings.

The C.A.R.E.S.
